Reasonably clean hotel in a spotlessly clean building close enough to Ilfracombe, and the beach at the bottom which has a great fish and chip shop. Very good service, well decorated and well-equipped room complete with toothbrushes, coffee and slippers. Delicious breakfasts with extras-tea, all the usual cerials, fresh coffee provided by the excellent staff. Ideal location in a beautiful valley.

We truly enjoyed the deluxe queen room which was good sized with a relaxed atmosphere enabling chats with other guests. Could use iron/ironing board, coffee/tea making equipment, and a work desk. The location was particularly good, next to the hill, the seafront and harbour and coast, in an absolutely charming area.

This is a good quality place to stay in Combe Martin. Everyone is pleasant and excellent and host too. The whole interior is modern and the rooms are a nice size and well furnished. The hotel is on a perfect and quiet location right by restaurants, the beach at the bottom and the sea front. Also, it's 2 km from a local history museum.
